Vertiv appoints IoT Misr as Diamond Partner in Egypt to address a market projected to expand from $305 million in 2025 to $865 million by 2031.
Scope of the Diamond partnership
The Diamond tier grants IoT Misr access to advanced training and technical resources from Vertiv. The firm will market and support a portfolio that includes uninterruptible power supplies, power distribution units, thermal management, modular racks, containment systems, and monitoring software.
Service offerings extend to project commissioning, preventive maintenance, technical support, and lifecycle management. Vertiv says the collaboration targets workloads such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, edge computing, 5G networks, and high-performance computing.
Market outlook and existing projects
Research cited by Vertiv forecasts an annual growth rate of 18.97% for the Egyptian market through 2031, implying the sector will nearly triple in six years. Growth drivers include cloud adoption, AI integration, digital transformation, and advanced connectivity.
Large-scale AI capacity is already prompting investments. Vodafone Business, Cassava Technologies and Elsewedy Electric plan to build the country’s first AI-focused facility, targeting 20 MW of power within three years.
Earlier this year, Vertiv named ALKAN Construction and Communication Networks, a subsidiary of ALKAN CIT, as a Diamond Partner in Cairo, showing a pattern of high-level alliances.
Executive comments and strategic focus
Ehab El Hefnawy, regional director for Northeast Africa, stated that the partnership will help organisations strengthen resilience and continuity of critical digital applications. Amr Nour, CEO of IoT Misr, said the deal expands the company’s ability to address a broader range of opportunities as the market develops.
The two firms emphasize energy-efficient design, aiming to improve resource utilization, boost reliability, and maintain business continuity for operators handling AI, edge and high-performance workloads.
Vertiv operates in more than 130 countries but did not disclose specific Egyptian customers or projected revenue from the new alliance.
Founded in 2022 as an extension of ICT Misr, IoT Misr describes itself as a regional systems integrator focused on secure, connected, and resilient digital environments. Its portfolio spans smart-city solutions, industrial digital services, operational-technology cybersecurity, network infrastructure, and data-center projects across the Middle East and North Africa.
