LaLiga EA Sports returns this week after the international break, and Movistar Plus will broadcast one of the standout matches of round 8: Real Madrid vs. Villarreal CF. The streaming service will air the game on Saturday, October 10, at 9:00 PM through its Movistar Plus channel (dial 7).
LaLiga EA Sports continuará sin interrupciones hasta noviembre, cuando está programado otro receso entre el 9 y el 17 de ese mes, lo que permite a los seguidores disfrutar de una larga serie de partidos antes de la pausa.
This marks the first full round of LaLiga EA Sports since the national team break, with the league resuming after a pause that lasted until October 9. Movistar Plus subscribers with the Plan Libre: Cine, Series y Deportes package will have access to the match, though the service typically broadcasts only one game per round. The Real Madrid-Villarreal clash stands out as a high-stakes fixture early in the season.
El calendario de LaLiga se dio a conocer a mediados de septiembre, confirmando el horario de 21:00 para este enfrentamiento, lo que permitió a los abonados planificar su visión del partido con antelación.
The matchup follows a competitive start to the 2023/24 season for both teams. Villarreal, currently 9th in the table, has won two of its last three games but has also dropped three consecutive matches earlier in the campaign. With just eight points from seven games, the team is looking to regain momentum after a shaky start.

Real Madrid, under Carlo Ancelotti, has started the season with five wins and two defeats, including a recent loss in the Madrid derby against Atlético. The club sits in 4th place with 15 points, though fans will be eager to see how the team recovers after the international break.
With both sides now looking to reset after the international break, the stakes for October 10 are high.
Movistar Plus has also confirmed its schedule for the next two rounds. On October 17, the service will broadcast Valencia CF vs. Athletic Club at 9:00 PM, followed by Atlético de Madrid vs. RC Deportivo on October 24 at the same time. For round 11, subscribers can expect FC Barcelona vs. Deportivo Alavés on October 31, though the exact timing has not yet been finalized.
Movistar Plus offers three subscription tiers: a monthly plan at €9.99, an annual plan at €99.90 (with two months free), and a Bono Cultural Joven option at €39.00 (with eight months free for young subscribers). Prices are subject to change, and availability may vary by region.
